Speaking of Shopsmith mechanics, has any one heard any news about Bill Mayo?

I seem to remember he posted to a thread not too long ago.

Do you know that you can do a noram search leaving off the subject and listing only the author?

I don't know how current this is, but at one time these were Shopsmith authorized service providers:

I spoke with James Hopp about two weeks ago. He continues repairs and was a certified Shopsmith repair center under the previous Shopsmith.
Those fixtures you see him using in the thread about Shopsmith on YouTube were provided to him by Shopsmith back in the day.

No longer available today from the Mother Ship.

Thanks for the link Everett! I will be dropping off the headstock with him later today and hopefully he'll get that headstock running the best it is going to run.
I will let everyone know how my experience was with his service.
Cheers,
John

I don't know about his work, but he sure is not fast turnaround. He has had my headstock for over a week and hasn't gotten around to it and he had one headstock to look at before it. I kept checking on it to see if he had gotten around to taking a look and he said he was always going to get to it that day. So for right now, I am not impressed by the procrastination and heming and hawing. A nice guy in general, but no real incentive or drive to fix headstocks quickly.
Might have gotten it faster back from Jacobs repair shop in Virginia Beach.
We'll see what condition the headstock comes back to me in at this point.
