Just measured ours, Bounty Plus - select-a-size, 5 3/4" corner to corner, (they have a tendency to become square in the bale)

so plus one on the 3" radius.

Biggest roll at Walmart was 6"!! So I'm going to do 6 1/4" Diameter or 3 1/8 or 3 1/4 from the back to center.
