Did we get all the questions answered or do I need to dig out my paper work?

I don't think so. How far are the six counter bored holes down from the top of the extension table? Why are there two groups of three holes? Did any paper work come with this extension fence. I have none for my extension fence but it is an older version anyhow and does not have the six counter bored holes.
I do like the suggestion of turning it upside down and using it with the rip fence but I will have to modify (drill holes) to be used to connect tot he rip fences (one 510 and one ProFence).

Typical of the times for shopsmith the images are just about useless but I will scan the pages and post the pdf sometime later today. The time frame was May 1999 according to the document. It was sometime after the advent of the 520 as one of the sets of holes in question is for that, the others are for the 500 and the 510.
So check back later today for the document.

Thanks Ed. That answers all the remaining questions.

I have another question - I cannot determine the overall length from Dusty's 'drawing'. I be considering making one.
Ditto the 'vertical' dimensions(off view).

My Bad. Very poor engineering practice.
I added a couple holes and some of the missing dimensions.
I really did not expect that anyone would be using this drawing for construction purposes
(just for discussions here on the forum).
I hope this helps:

P.S. couple of mysteries remain.
Distance 'down' from the 'top' to the saw fence mounting holes.
Distance 'up' from the two jointer fence mounting holes to the third hole whose purpose is undiscovered.
TIA

Down from the top to the two holes I added: 2"
(this is the distance from the bottom of the ProFence to the mid point of the miter track in the side of the ProFence)
Up from the router fence mounting holes to the mystery hole: 1/2"
(the purpose for this hole remains a mystery to me)

FWIW, the distance from the table top to the 500/510 rip fence holes is 1 13/16.
Also the c-c distance of the jointer fence holes is 9 15/16 on my Goldie jointer.
Needless to say my fence addition will vary from both yours and Ed's.
One other ? What is the length of the 520 rip fence EXTRUSION?
