Glad the info is useful. I never had the blade fixture, the seller didnt have it when he bought it used. Without the blade fixture I struggled to get everything right. Combine that with never having used a scroll saw before and I was stuck. Looking at modern scroll saws I noted that none of them had a rear support. Once I had the new blade blocks and dumped the rear blade support all was well and it's worked like a champ since.
