Well, the lister took it down and then relisted it at $500. Then he relisted it at $400. I just got off the phone with him and he accepted $350. The picture was taken about a month ago. It comes with the PC router shown. A very good score I think.

That is a great find. I sold those like cazy while I was working at the Kansas City Shopsmith store in the early 90's. I wouldn't give mine up for anything. Great for pattern routing of duplicate items. As I recall back then there wasn't much on the market for router tables and Shopsmith was pretty much leading the way.

Thanks Dennis. It is nearly new condition and the PC router (690?) is a bonus.

Well, it is in my shop now. It is every bit as clean as it looked in the sellers pictures. In fact there is not a speck of saw dust to be found anywhere. It looks to have never been used. The router is a Porter Cable Speedmatic but of course not the current 3 1/4HP model. I haven't had a good look at it yet but will this weekend. It looks to be an older model 1 1/2HP or 1 3/4HP but it too looks unused. It also has the dust collector port and casters.
The manual is copyright 1979. It shows the older table top. I assume there is a newer manual with the new table. Does anyone have a copy I could get?

Thanks Mike. I am going to make an order to get that. I am also missing the guide pins and the depth stop rod. Those parts are available so they will be added to the order.

I pulled the router out today. It is a Porter Cable 5362. As I understand it that was the precursor the the PC 690. It shows evidence of some use but not very much. I doubt it was used in the router table as there is absolutely no saw dust anywhere on the table. There has never been a router installed in the overhead arm. The router clamp pads show no sign of being used even once.
