I finished the TV stand finally. I still have to sand and apply finish to the coffee table before final assembly of it. I narrowed the maple shadow piece and the bull nose, I like it a lot better that way. The top for the coffee table is in the background. The end table top was the left over from the coffee table top board so I am hoping it will turn out nicely.

That's some mighty nice furniture for a brand-new apartment dweller!

My oldest daughter is having to make do with Ikea stuff. :o However, she actually seems to like it.

That is nice work Brenda. I love the use of the maple as contrast. The finish looks great too.

I have gotten the coffee table and love seat done. I almost had enough cherry left over to make the love seat. I do not have pictures of the final pieces yet but here is a picture of the coffee table top.

I also had some cut offs left over with groves cut in them so made a couple of utensil/pencil holders.

I also made a pepper grinder. I found a really interesting piece of box elder that I wrapped around and placed on a soft maple base.

The color in the box elder is amazing. I have never seen it used on projects but I will now keep my eye open for some now. And those tables are awesome, too.

Here is the coffee table without the lower shelf and you can see some of the love seat frame.

The tables, love seat and things were delivered to my daughter yesterday. They turned out to be interesting projects with some things I had not done in many years and new techniques to learn. I had not glued up larger panels in a number of years so that was interesting. I also learned to use casting epoxy. I used it to fill several missing knots, cracks and to stabilize some knots in the cherry. I got a chance to practice my turning (lamp) and my son got to turn his first project (ice cream scoop) for her. Her apt is now furnished and I find that except for a couple of bar height chairs I have made all of it.

Husband made the cushion covers. I made a small storage area under the seat cushion.
