Thanks Brenda. I live in Portland Oregon. However, Your Guy, he seems to be the grand master. I totally get his attitude about calls and emails. I owned my own company for 25 years. Folks men no harm but Boy Howdy can they eat up valuable time. Thank you for your reply...
I just need to get it in my head that there are things I can no longer do. Nuts and bolts have become hard on a good day. But I can still push wood thr a saw. I love wood and tools. Again, thanks for all the help and interest.

Is it possible the coupler is not fully seated on the drive sleeve output shaft and is interfering with the quill body at the rear?

Pix sure would be helpful.
