Here is the best answer I know for the differences in the arbors between the original aka Model 500 Table System and the larger 510/505/520/Mark 7 Table System. It is the design of the Lower Blade Guard. The Lower Blade Guard for the larger Table System of the Mark V 510/505/520/Mark 7 has a deeper throat requiring longer Arbors than the original Arbors made for the original/500 Table System. The different Blade Guard sets of the original/500 Table System are not interchangeable between it and the Blade Guard set of the 510/505/520/Mark 7.

br549,

Thanks for linking the Identifying Arbors thread. Unfortunately I tried to put the updated copy of the Arbors PDF on it and the old one is deleted but the new will not post as the comes up
The uploaded file is empty.
That is even happening here. I have even resaved it and renamed it from the original word document. No luck.
Russ

That makes 4 that are getting that empty file message. Admin has been notified but it is not likely to be 'fixed' until tomorrow - hope I am wrong there.

It is back working. :) Here is the current Shopsmith Arbors PDF I created.
Shopsmith Arbors 04-20.pdf
(135.95 KiB) Downloaded 908 times
I will add it back to the other thread that lost it yesterday so the pictures and it are once again together.
