Ed, I like the rounded front idea, I will just have to see how thin I can make the cross piece and still be sound and stable. This will be my go to if I can’t come up with individual lifts that are stable and unobtrusive.

I finished the t v lifts but they now present new problems, my wife doesn’t like that she can now see the cable holes in the back of the book case and that the cable box is now too low and has to be raised. We shall see what the bride wants now. Here are the photos of what has been done so far.

What about using braided wire loom (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=wire+loom+br ... _sb_noss_2) to group the cables together and partially conceal them? Just find the right size wire loom to fit your cables. It "may" be more concealed than what you have now...just a thought.

Good idea for the cable but I’ll have to see what she will be happy with as far as covering the two openings on the back panel. I have told her I can put thin black plywood, black cloth or black poster board with the appropriate size holes for the wires.
