Thanks nv10er, I've sent you a PM.
It does have the newer 10ER extension table. It's set up right now with the big disc sander. Where do I get the paper/glue for that? My 10ER has the smaller disc sander and I haven't used it yet.

Get 12" sanding discs with peel off adhesive. Glue(or distick) has not been used for decades.

The 12" Sandpaper Discs with the self-adhesive backing are available from Shopsmith and other sources. Shopsmith also sells hook and loop Sandpaper Disks.
You said you have the smaller Sanding Disk. What diameter is your Sanding Disk? The Model 10's only came with the 12 " Sanding Disk as have the Mark 5/V's through the years. There was a different double sided 10" Sanding Disk with one side flat and the other conical that came with the Mark VII in the 1960's. The SawSmith RAS had a 9" Sanding Disk.

Maybe they aren't sanding discs at all. Here are some pics of these two items that came with my 10ER. Lathe faceplates?

Yep, CI! I would assume they are pressed or stamped steel today.

Nope, Cast Aluminum.
The conical sanding disk is stamped steel. The flat sanding disk is simply steel(flat plate).

Lathe Faceplates have gone from Cast Iron to Aluminum back to CI. Below are examples of the different 3-3/4" Lathe Faceplates with the most recent one I bought from SS on the right. The CI one on the left is from the Model 10 era. They were changed with the introduction of the Mark 5 Greenie to have the 5/32" Allen Wrench size Set Screw and painted green. If your 3-3/4" Faceplate doesn't have the 5/32" Allen Wrench size Set Screw it was from the Model 10 era.
