Mine is a Tool Shop,I found a pic.
It really seems well built.
strong motor,no smell,A TON of ShopSmith Acc. ,all of them are SS.
I can't beat it for free.
I could sell the acc. and buy a SS if I wanted to.

Special Purpose Tools:

Bandsaw, Jointer, Scroll Saw, Belt Sander, etc. Basically, any of the tools that attach to, and are powered by, the machine's headstock is considered a Special Purpose Tool (SPT). Exception is the dust collector. It has its own motor.

I have never heard of a tool shop. Are you sure it is not a total shop like the on in this link.http://www.shopsmith.net/forums/showthr ... total+shop
