Mark 5 / V part number size descriptions and cross reference

Although all the ref. # and some of the part numbers differ from the Mark V manual, the actual descriptions and sizes are "similar" EXCEPT, item 9, 504153 which shows a 1/2"-18 thread. Standard 1/2" thread pitches are 1/2"-13 for course and 1/2"-20 for fine. That set screw one would require a physical check before assuming it's an 18 thread per inch version. I assumed it was -13 course for my database.

I'll check the real world, Mike but at this point I suspect you are correct. The thread count is something that I added into the database, apparently, because I do not find it anywhere in Shopsmith documentation.

Yes screw descriptions are quite vague in later parts lists. As for the item 'numbers', I recall attempting a conversation with ss cs and I was referencing the parts by the number in the online drawings. Their item numbers were different!
