Come on guys be nice have you seen the price of Makita 14.4 batteries!

Seriously he was getting good advice. Makita service is top notch and if there is a service center near by it would probably be worth it to visit them to see what it would cost to fix.
I was just trying to nab some batteries out of the deal. :D

Nay it would not be worth it and since your batteries are good I will take them off your hand. Just package them and send them to me.:D. I will send you back a great big thank you card ]

Gene, there is a guy in Mesa, who'd LOVE the batteries, and besides, shipping is cheaper than Fla!:D

Seriously, see if Makita can fix it. I doubt that Snowflake has a service center, but I'd bet there's one here in the Phoenix area.

On a different note, i need to get back up to Snowflake, I'm related to about 1/4 the town. (Jake was my uncle.)

Man, is my face red!
I got you guys in a tither about those 14.4 batteries and, in checking over the drill for model numbers I find it is an 18V model 6390D. ;)

I'm really sorry, guys. Were they 14.4 I was gonna ship 'em out. But, since they're not, I guess they won't fit your needs, right?:D

I'm still gonna take it apart and see if I can fix it.
