SSWoodWorker48: I am also guilty of not 'going into the shop' last night. I looked at my manual(circa 1983), and the only woodruff keys were the ones on the feed drive gears and crank shaft. Since mine is a SS mount, the manual only showed the hub mounted to the shaft(I assumed a flatted shaft then).
As a result of your last post I went out and looked at the drive shaft. Surprise, both a flat and a square keyway!:eek:

Did not mean to sound condescending re 'understanding' woodruff keys, but tis best to not assume too much when answering somewhat vague questions.
Oh well, maybe the McMaster Carr listing will help!:)
