The fence I have is from the newer gray table - I don't have the original Goldie fence. The finger on the back of the fence goes all the way under the table on both the Goldie and Gray tables.

I'm baffled by his situation.

On my restores I used different colors and also painted parts of the fences and miter gauge (basically the heads) as well as the tables so I can tell at a glance which one goes with which SS. They will interchange but I aligned each one to its own SS and I felt that the accuracy might not carry over if I just grabbed any one of them from any machine and slapped it in place. Both the 510 and the old Mark VII stuff is all unique. The paint color codes the regular Mark V's. It may not be necessary but I feel better about keeping them matched to the same machines.

As am I! Would one of you please post a pix of your wrap around clamp?

The newer style 500 fence(with the 510 extrusion) has a different style clamp that is longer, but it also clamps to the bevel. The newer bandsaw fence has the longer clamp, but the bandsaw table does not have the bevel.

Is a puzzlement!

Both my Greenie and 83 500 clamp to the bevel as well they do not wrap all the way around the table lip????? Could he be referring to an ER table possibly???
