I do not have a jig but I use a piece of wood of the proper thickness to position the rails. The object is to get the rails all the same height (with respect to the table surface). Since the position of the rails is really "not adjustable" many folks I believe do not address this issue. I tinker with loosening and retightening the rail screws to get them set properly.
I do this with the tables resting upside down on my work bench and that long "feeler gauge" piece of wood between the bench top and the rails. If necessary, I run that feeler gauge through the planer to get it the right thickness.
I guess I should do that, label the resulting "feeler gauge" and call it a jig. I have not felt this to be a critical issue so have not done this. Once setup properly this hardly ever needs to be redone.

It looks like 3/8" is the required dimension.

The older 510(think mouse holes) has tapped holes in the tables(fixed position) and counter sink heads on the mounting screws(self centering) = nothing to 'adjust'.
Not having a newer 510, I never thought of 'adjusting' the rails, but I assume it is biasing the screw hole slop. Makes sense same as for a 520. Wonder why there is not one?
It would not help the old/new rail thickness 'issue', but would work for either version(od the same). Be ok as a 'check' on the non-adjustable older version.
