rejent: After reading your post on set-up using the quill, I have a comment, if you use this method, I suggest when you set up the I-Box to the miter initially, move the quill out slightly otherwise it can only be adjusted only one way when you re-install after it has been removed for some reason. You may need to adjust it the other way. I found this out the hard way.

Of course Don, that is exactly the way I do it as well. Pretty simple and quick. I leave the miter locked down in the same place all the time, advance the quill an inch or so, set the jig, then kiss the blade .... done!
My one observation, if I may pass it on, is to not over tighten the jaws closed. Just kiss them also. i find it easier to get a good first "set" on the jig.

So, this is STILL a problem! They sent me a miter bar without the counter sinks but still supplied the screws with tapered heads. I will call customer service in the morning. They need to get this right!
Anybody who purchases an iBox is advised to remove the inserts in their miter bar and see what is going on. With the proper screws/countersink combo, the bar should have zero slop.

Gotta make a comment: The little plastic item has a hole in it that is so sloppy, there is no way it would stay on the adjusting screw while making transport across the room, let alone across the country.

???? AIUI the mitergauge 'head' is not thick enough for a full countersink head so the screws need to have a truncated tapered head. ***
Undercut not = truncated????

My mistake. Corrected original post. They supplied tapered heads without countersinking the bar.

Countersinking the bar was a workaround prior to discovering the screws s/b undercut.

I don't want to have to countersink it myself. If I mess it up, then it is my mistake. I want them to send me the right hardware.
