I performed this modification for the sole purpose of satisfying myself with an answer to a long time burning question. Does the 510 Tilt Lock and the Tie Bar contribute to my alignment issues and if they do does their elimination result in a more stable machine? I have not done enough wood working with this configuration to answer that question but I do believe that it will. In so doing, the official double-tilt will, in my mind, provide a great improvement over the original 505/510/520.
Furthermore, I believe I am going to be able to show that a properly assembled and aligned machine will allow the use of an aligned Extension Table on either end without concern for where it was aligned.

Where did you come up with those dimensions? Standard OEM way tubes are 52" and bench tubes are 53".
Oh, as JPG said bench tubes are 52 3/4". I tried to measure mine on the assembled machine and came up with 53 but it is hard to get an accurate measurement that way.

Just to muddle things a bit, FWIW the Mark VII tubes are ALL 52" and the bores are all 1 11/16:. Mark VII, NOT Mark 7!!!

Things are muddled enough on this end without any additional help.
Where did the numbers come from you ask. These are my numbers from my notes, created mostly at the time of reassembly after a relocation. I concluded that they were OEM because I bought my machine new direct from Dayton.
With my extension tables inserted and lowered almost all the way down, there is a gap between the ends of the bench tubes and the vertical support legs on the extension tables equal to 1/16". That is 1/16" on each end, leading to the conclusion that the bench tubes are 1/8" shorter than the separation between the extension table legs (end to end inside measurement). That separation can be easily measured with a pair of 36" rules used as a storey stick.
The measurement is 52 7/8". Thus, my bench tubes are 52 3/4" long.
By convention then, the way tubes would be 3/4" shorter or 52".

Yes, that is correct but you said in your previous post and I quote...

Ya, I said that. I did not delete it. It is still there. Have fun.
BTW, my statement about Way Tube length was also incorrect. Mine are actually 52" long with somewhere between 48 1/8" and 48 1/4" exposed.
It is a shame though. All of this BS was because we were unable to get extension tables aligned so that they could be swapped end for end and we were attempting to determine why. BTW My home brew "double tilt" MK V that doesn't tilt in either direction does support swapping extension tables.
I have learned a lot. One of the most important lessons has been that if you can not touch it and feel it ... leave it alone. Check your own machine and continue making sawdust.
