Saw blade recommendation for newbee?

Just a couple of years ago, I bought a set of carbide blades from Shopsmith. Mainly because of the larger arbor size. Other than it took about 9 months for the blades to arrive (customer service said they were on back order from their distributor), I could not be happer with my purchase. The price (I found) was comperable to other high end blades and I also found them to be of very high quality (very sharp). Customer Service did not mention who their suppliers were but they did tell me that their blades were manufactured by a distributor in Germany.
