Auxiliary drill press table for the SS??

Possibly, not much. But, the bigger it is the less likely it'll get lost.
I just want the convenience of the hold downs and a clampless method of securing a stop block and, a replaceable sacrificial insert. Plus, I like making jigs.

I have been thinking about this since first reading this thread.

Just how much more useful is a larger drill press table?

It seems that most of my table (can be see in this thread) is useless space.

I drill bit comes down in the same location every time. I can move the table in and out some - but why? What does that feature do for me.

Peter, Thanks for the light reference I'm thinking this could be useful mounted on the tail stock as well when working on the inside of bowls, especially the deeper ones.
