Possibly, not much. But, the bigger it is the less likely it'll get lost.
I just want the convenience of the hold downs and a clampless method of securing a stop block and, a replaceable sacrificial insert. Plus, I like making jigs.

It seems that most of my table (can be see in this thread) is useless space.
I drill bit comes down in the same location every time. I can move the table in and out some - but why? What does that feature do for me.
