Everything is already "caught" for you. Just show up, eat (what you can stomach), drink (which helps the eating) and be merry (or meet Mary as it suits you!)
Now that looks like a weekend of wholesome family entertainment!:D

I remember the phrase as "Eat, drink and MAKE merry. And, if Mary's occupied, jump for Joy":D

Mike, I just soak 'em an hour or so in salt water, skin 'em, parboil, then slice (in my case, I cubed them to eat like finger food), dipped in milk, dredged in 3/4 flour and 1/4 corn meal and fry to a crispyness to taste. Make a tangy bleu cheese or ranch dip for them.
MMMMMMmmmmmmm goooood!
Some fancy folks parboil in water and vinegar and soak in white wine before the milk/flour process.

How are you preparing the calf fries? Are you doing anything special?
I love them and still remember the look on a colleagues face when he tasted them and said they were delicious. Then he asked, "now what are these made from again"? The last time I saw him he was headed to the latrine... His loss!
Best,
mike

I have this theory anything that must be soaked for an hour or so in salt water to make it edible, isn't. Unless it is dried and needs reconstituted.

I stopped eating at McDonald's long ago. For those who need another reason why (other than pink slime), click here:
