Whatever you say but GOOD LUCK going forward. One of the more hazardous things you can do is operate while needing table alignment.

You weres not talking about thousandths of an inch but rather quarters of an inch.

I doubt doing a table alignment will 'correct' this. There is not sufficient 'slop' in the trunion mounting holes to cause a 1/4" deviation.

i.e. we are not wasting time, we have not discovered the cause yet.

The blade should be close to centered.

BTW does your quill have the rubber stop ring between the retaining ring and the headstock?
