Ron has provided a link to the manual which includes the extra 2 page guide. This is the same guide someone sell on ebay so no need to pay for it. The manual has the recommended service and maintenance for the Jig Saw. This manual covers the same information and parts for all Jig Saws made from their introduction in 1954 until they were discontinued. My copy happens to be a Shopsmith Inc. manual for my 1980 Jig Saw and is the same as the Magna American version Ron linked to.
A few parts are still available for the Jig Saw from SS but are mostly limited to parts that do not wear out or get lost. The spring you mentioned is one item still available. Shopsmith no longer makes parts for the Jig Saw. If you need to make the Yoke for your Jig Saw follow the instructions in the video. Remember when cutting off a piece of your wife's cutting board, cut of a complete strip and round down the corners and edges to make it look nice again. She may not even notice what you did. Remember to use a cutting board or other stock thick enough for the finished part.
As was said before you can fabricate some of the parts. I have used leather from an old belt to make a replacement seal for an older Model A-34 Jig Saw I restored from a Model 10ER.
The Jig Saw is a nice tool to have. I used mine the other day to make a part for one of my restorations. Something I could not do on a Scroll Saw.
