Thank you Chuck,
My temps are low a little longer than yours. I have noticed a clicking noise coming out of my bandsaw when cold seems to be coming from the top wheel but not sure yet. I too have been using my SS a low temps and so far so good. I'm shooting another video of building beezer the burro and noticed the sounds and saw my breath on the video. This is what prompted my question. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Sealed ball bearings and roller bearings do not like cold weather. Just like car engines. The roller bearings in the top wheel do needs lubicating as often as the headstock. You may want to use a low temp grease for this task. If you have the ball bearing auto-track and upper & lower backup rollers, these bearing also can make noise at low temp. There were previous posts on removing the top wheel to lubicate the roller bearings.
