The dust port upgrade was what I had on mine when I got it, and what I removed and replaced with the port shown in the first post in this thread

There have been other suggestions, but I offer this one. Get an older, without the washer, Miter for your Cast Iron Table that doesn't have the Safety Grip either if you use the Miter as a fence. That makes it readily available and an extension can be added for a longer and/or taller fence. If you are using it as a Miter and want the Grip, go with one of the other suggestions or you could buy a dedicated one for your Bandsaw. Miters come up for sale often and some for very reasonable prices.While I was disassembling my bandsaw, I played with the cast iron table that came with it. The Shopsmith Miter Gauge slides in, as long as I remove the washer for the T-Nut on the rest of the tables.
I have not and do not know of anyone who has tried it. It may be too much of a cut into the slot's lower sides.Has anyone ever tried to mill a T-nut into the cast iron bandsaw table? Are there obvious reasons not to do it?
