It may not technically have been off topic, but it's much like flying from Minneapolis to Chicago through Atlanta. The spacer comments are for the double tilt upgrade. Some here think they are necessary but, SS does not so they don't provide them when you upgrade to the double tilt. Nobody has a simple instructions on how to correctly put together a Shopsmith V ends and tubes. Better known as basic set up, I find that strange.
