We did? Must have missed it.

We took off work early (the last sunny day in the forecast for a while), and went to the Snow Goose for a couple of wonderful local brewed glasses of beer and Halibut for dinner, we started with the Salmon spread, naturally. Oh & finished off with a locally brewed root beer float!

First date we've had in a while.

Chemo is done except for a year of Herceptin, starting on radiation soon. Her head is getting "fuzzy"! We both can't wait for her hair to grow back. We look so forward to being on the other side of this!

Could ya'll send us some warm weather? Why can't WE get some of that "global warming" stuff?

My news report was deceiving. When they talked about the quake, they showed a map of Alaska with Anchorage in BIG text. Come to find out, the quake was about 1000 miles away from you....Fox Islands, Aleutian Islands . Now wonder you didn't feel it.

Glad to see you guys were up to having a night out. I'm sure the chemo took a toll on her desires to get out and around. Glad to hear that behind her now. That's gotta be the worst part for sure. Our prayers are with her.

That joint you went to looked like a fun place to go. Made me hungry seeing the dishes they serve.

Oh, Yes! They are rats! The black one is a Dumbo rat (ears to the side of his head) The white one is actually a Siamese rat (called that for the color of his face and butt).

Mike - Yes! They were both young, about 10 to 12 weeks old when the pics were taken. We have 5 of them, all males. They are now close to a year old. They are fun - and are all unique characters.

Your lows would take down most of us up here!

We whinge big time at anything above 80°, which does not happen very often here in Anchorage. We've only got a few weeks until the Fireweed starts blooming, and when it tops out, that it, summer is over.

I'm not sure I could survive outside in +100° weather!

So today at work I came across this little guy:

For those that don't know I work at the USPS processing plant here in Anchorage. I do not believe this guy is indigenous to Alaska, & probably came it with the mail, which comes through our plant from all over the world.

Any "bug" folks around that might fathom a guess as to what he is & where is he from? We would like to mail him back!
