Thanks guys for the input.
Old brown hide glue, Woodcraft only here, for the glue up. And some blue 3m tape over the wings which I handthreaded holes through with the same forstner bit. (made nice clean holes in the tape). Actually I did use tape almost everywhere I did a glue up, it was easier to clean up. Hide glue definately leaves some stringy thingys goin everywhere, but you learn as you go. Q tips evaporate fast but work well.
