I had an older manual but the new manual part 19 is still the whole assembly not just an axle. I will order Monday, thx everybody for your help!

The question that remains is: What caused the barrel shape? That would definitely cause 'wobble'!!! That may be why you needed a new wheel. Do you think the old wheel caused it?

P.P.S. You could possibly shim(sleeve) the ends of the shaft temporarily to run fer craft stuff. Pop cans ~ 0.003". Aluminum!!!!!

I plan on ordering new washers and retaining rings also and will pack with bearing grease. Don't know cause but old wheel would be my first guess. Once again, thx everybody, just hope it's not back ordered for too long a period.

Ordered the parts for the band saw and checked on possibility of a loaner headstock...........Told SS doesn't do that. Still waiting for them to mail box to ship mine back. Will let you know when parts arrive if it solves BS problem as much as I can without power.

If you have a powerpro headstock that's back at shopsmith for repair, they damn sure owe you a loaner headstock. Who told you no?! And they knew they had your powerpro?!

The original guy told me no. In speaking with the First Lady that took the order for the box to be sent to me to return the power pro, she told me they have no power pro for loaners. They do loan variable speed but not sure if they had one to loan. I have made back up plans for other stand alone power tools from a friend. She guaranteed me they would check, fix and return as soon as they receive it. We will see how it goes.
