For those who had previously owned the fence and then purchased the Double-Tilt upgrade, we will create an item number to allow the clamp/hardware to be ordered.
Yay. Nice work Admin!
I can't take credit for this one. They were aware and had already solved it, before I got the question asked.
Awesome. Do we need to do anything on our end or just be patient and wait?

You shouldn't need to do anything. Order history will allow us to list the customers we owe them to.

Like most here, more hats than we can keep track of.
If your asking about the involvement with Customer Service, it is a recent change that is part of our renewed focus on serving customers. We need to bring service back to the levels that existed before our turnaround difficulties.
As part of this focus, others here are now working on the backorder problem. As opposed to a single cause, we are finding many contributing issues. The large number of issues, unfortunately mean it won't be a quick fix, but it will get gradually better.

O< making progress. I received parts today, thank you, but am confused a bit. I got the following:
120382 - WSR-.382ID.688OD.094 SPLT (lock washer)
5130879 - (S)Clamp-Shaper (Mach)-21 (Clamp)
518278 - (S)Clamp Extension (Mach) (base with 2- 3/8" threaded holes to mount stand for guard and attach to clamp?)
515981 - Knob W/Std H.D.#3090 2"WD 2" 3/8" Bolt w/handle)
180120 - SCR- 3/8-16x3/4 HX HD C (Bolt)
Not sure about the C clamp but I think it's missing a threaded 3/8 hole. I'm guessing that the "C" clamp has a hole bored and threaded for the "T" handle 2" x 3/8 bolt to clamp to the table. The extension has two threaded holes, one that holes the post that holds the plastic guard assembly as well one that I would guess is suppose to be used with the 3/8" x 3/4L bolt but there isn't a threaded hole on the topside of the clamp for it to blot to.
Hope this makes sense. Here's a picture of the parts, note the assembled "T" handle and clamp. How is the extension suppose to attach?

Not sure what's on top of the clamp but yes, that's how I had it attached. The extensions doesn't sit sturdy under the clamp and there's nothing to do with the washer and bolt so my guess had it missing the threaded hole on top.

Without parts in hand and just going by the pictures here it looks like the clamp should have a second hole on the top side. The bolt would go through the clamp and into the clamp extender.
The 5130879 is not a order-able part yet. The 518278 is both a clamp extension and a part for the OPR????? Not sure what happened there. Anyway the extension is $5.18. The knob is $2.23.
With out a second hole in the clamp this doesn't make since to me.

Well this was interesting. The clamp part is of course the same part as used on the shaper/sander fence for the model 500 table system. The part number is 513087. I decided to order one of these and while it let me order it the conformation comes back with 5130879, and yes that is the "new" part. Can't wait to see what I get.
The other odd thing is the part number 518278 as I mentioned it is the same part number as a part on the opr. If you go here:
http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/prod ... pgrade.pdf
And look for #8 an "insulator pad" so far the conformation is calling for a "Clamp Extension" so again it will be interesting to see what I get.
The knob looks like a slam dunk.
