Now it has been a few months, I love the Mr Heat Big Buddy heater.
We havd some 20* nights, no heat on, but in the am through it on high, 18K BTUs and about 54* in the garage, hour later 60, then medium, 9K BTUs and maybe 32* outside now, 62* and climbing. Low to mid 40* day by noon and sunny at 64*, then on low again, 4K BTUs and holding till about 6-7pm then about 62* in, tonight now at 845pm, 36* outside and 62* in here.
With full filled 20lb/5 gallon LP tanks I get about 120 hours on low, 2.25x less on medium and 4.5x less on high/ about 25+ hours on high constant, 50 ish on medium constant.
Here a full tank fill is $20.00 but after 5 a free be, so it comes out to $16.00.
Exchange is $20 and just get 15lbs.
It aint no permanent Hot Daug hung hard wired and hard piped heater at all said and done would be around a grand$, I would do one of them in a permanent shop, but this is at moms and I dont think I will be here next winter because mom wont be.

Are you close to a Costco?
Around here they have the lowest price on propane. Up till a couple of weeks ago it was $9.99 CDN for a 20lb fill, with the colder weather it has gone up a bit but still under $11.00 CDN.
