I have access to CNC machines and was thinking to make a new pulley but I can't find right cutter for this pulley profile.

I can order custom made cutter but then we are talking about time and money and I just don't want to waste any of it.

Does it need to be a timing/cogged belt like it is now? SS switched from the Gilmer drive cogged belt to the poly-v belt, is something like that possible for you to do?

If you can't find the correct pulley I would think a machine shop or tool and die shop could TIG weld it and grind it down for you.

Waiting for pulleys to arrive tomorrow.
In the mean time I reassembled motor and power takeoff shaft.
It is running just fine. I ran it from 100RPM up to 3500 and it's purring like a cat.
I love it.

Overall motor replacement was not difficult at all.

Today I bored one pulley to 50mm and drilled two side holes to secure it onto the spindle shaft.

I will have to cut away side wall on a new pulley because it is impossible to install a belt.
There is no clearance on the top side of the bore and belt can't pass over the right bearing onto the pulley.
Notice a bottom half cutaway on picture but zero on the top of headstock.

Am I missing something here????

Finally, it's assembled and running.

Now I have to figure out how to install controller on the headstock.

Look at that belt "clearance" at top.
