Yes, it is related to shop time, but the computer time doesn't produce anything that I can hold in my hand!

I'd much rather make something than read about it. Very true that some tips read here are extremely helpful, but if not tried out they soon slip away deeply into my grey matter and get lost. It seems my head and hands are closely connected.

I just call it time management.

The situation discussed early in this thread was being dealt with and the site was almost back to "total recovery" and then this happened.

I know nothing about what is happening now and have no way to contact anyone who might know.

This message is from the hosting service and not from SSUG.

I haven't been here the past few months but did receive a email asking for some financial help for ssug.org. I'm a newbie to woodworking and really appreciate the help I've received on any and all forums. Without you guys I would have given up and sold my SS. I also have some Festool tools and their forum has been extremely helpful too. I will gladly contribute some $$ to ssug.org to help keep the information flowing. If, for some reason, this forum was no longer available, where would I go to find out what happened? If there was not ssug.org to communicate with you guys there'd be no way of knowing where to go or how to help. By having two forums we assure that the communication process will continiue. Just my two cents worth.:)

Just tried SSUG and got right on. No problem with sign-in, and and admin update was posted with todays date. However, it showed that I was the only person on the site at this time...9:30am Pacific time.
So far I have not found the website interesting, but I do monitor it occasionally.

Since coming back online the activity has been very limited. I suspect that it has to do with having been down for two weeks or more.

However, it is not as active as many of the other woodworking sites.

It's back!!!
