I talked to Linda at Shopsmith on Tuesday of this week. She indicated her info shows shipping in 6 to 8 weeks. I did not ask if that was from the announcement date or from the date I called.

My internet provider allows me to decide if I want them to "control" my "SPAM" intake or if I want to control it myself. Originally, when they started their filtering, I quit getting many e-mails that I wanted. I went to their web site options page and I did what they asked, i.e., I entered the e-mail addresses of these senders into my list of e-mails that I ALWAYS wanted to get. The company I work for has done everthing imaginable to stay off of the blacklists and it still happens. We follow all the "rules" as does SS, of only sending emails to people that have given us their address, have the opt-out links on every email, and don't send emails to anyone that has used it, pay to be on "whitelists".
Emails still get blocked...
As an example, I wood receive some SS e-mails, but felt that I was missing some. When I set my option to receive ALL e-mail, I received about 25% of e-mails that SS sent me marked as SPAM, but at least I got them. I continue to receive e-mail from senders that sometimes is marked as SPAM and sometimes knot. I do knot believe that the filter works as well as it should, and choose to receive all mail sent to me, so that I can think for myself and delete those that I choose to.

Probably the reason it does not show it being shipped is because Shopsmith doesn't know. Incra products will ship directly to you from Incra. I found this out this spring when I ordered the Incra 6" T-ruler from Shopsmith. I got it and Shopsmith showed that it hadn't shipped yet. I called and that is what they told me and they then marked it shipped. They don't know until Incra tells them.

Received 1 Miter V120 yesterday
It's true I received my shopsmith version Incra V120 Miter Gauge I did have time to assemble it unfortunately I will not get to play with it for at least a month. It is as slick as advertised. Then again playing with a grandchild a vacation and opportunity to fish in Alaska for a week makes the wait easier to take. Anyone else receive one yet? fjimp:D:D:D

Got mine yesterday, August 24. Have not had a chance to set it up. Looks good!
Today: August 25. Assembled, aligned and played, a little, with the V120. Noticed two things;
1. The T-slot retainer does not rigidly lock the miter bar - almost, but it does creep if nudged, and I really tightened the screw adjuster. A rubber o-ring which is part of the assembly may be keeping the retainer from firmly gripping the miter slot.
2. The four miter bar expansion disks work well, but you may need to tweak their adjustment to prevent the bar from binding.
All in all, typical minor stuff. Without more experience with it, I think it is a worthwhile addition to the shop.

Ordered 8/6, arrived this morning.
This thing is SWEET. Perfectly square right out of the box (once assembled).
I turned the anti-slop washers, one at a time, til it started to bind, then backed it out til it almost didn't (I could just barely feel it). very nice.
Standard SS miter extension board holes don't line up, no big thing, re-drlll.
SS safety grip went on okay, solid.

I received my V120 on 8/26 via FEDX. It often takes a little longer for delivery because we're on the end of a 75 mile route from Marquette. ( In da middle of da woods in da U.P. Eh! )
The V120 is also offered through other woodworking sources but ours is a special Shopsmith Edition. I've assembled it to a new miter grip. The only problem I encountered was that the aluminum screw block (Incra's #522555) was "wobbly" and when the heal of the grip was attached to the screw block with the 10-24 x 1 3/8 fillister screw the grip was very "wobbly" as well. I solved this problem by removing the aluminum screw block and placing a standard 1/4" steel washer under it. This enabled the screw block to be tightened and in turn tightened the grip when assembled.
As it is, the V120's faceplate is too small to be of much use. I've already made two extensions out of Baltic birch which attach to the faceplate via two 1/4 x 1 1/4 carriage bolts with wing nuts & washers. Next, I plan to make a special fence extension that will enable me to cut segments for bowls. Rather than replace Shopsmith's standard miter grip, I think the V120 will be complementary with it's own list of special uses.
