IF you have a second SS this part I made worked when turning down some rusty tubes I have for some ER's

What did you use on the 'chuck' end?

It is a standard 4 jaw chuck Will try and to post a bigger picture

oK how do I get my pictures to be larger on the attachments? not sure what I am doing wrong. On the computer under pictures they are large and clean then when done as an attachment small and cloudy. Not had this problem be for when attaching.

I have made a few of these using the softer caster wheels. The mounting holes in the tailstock are slots that I drilled and filed so the casters can be adjusted. The tail stock remains fully functional. I use a 3 internal jaw 4" metal lathe chuck with a 5/8" adapter to hold the tubes. Really does a beautiful job on the tubes as I can clean, polish and wax them. I also find bent tubes when mounting them in this setup. This tube was 100% rusty and not fully cleaned yet. About 5 minutes of work so far for this picture.

Bill, great idea and even easier to build that what I tried. I had an extra tail stock and never thought of that. I guess that is why we all turn to you because at one time you have probably already done or tried it.

Do you have any photo image editing software installed on your computer? That's where you'd resize your photos to make them appear larger.

Taking JPG's suggestion to heart, I have gone back and property inserted my pictures into the posts using the paperclip feature, for easier viewing. I'll attach any future pictures of my project using this method, in the future.
BTW,
Irfanview is a very nice piece of picture manipulation software, it's the one I've been using for years, and it's FREE!
