Flash and Silverlight are similar but can live together just fine. It looks like something has broken your Flash player. Does YouTube work? Have you tried re-installing the Flash Player?

Only ONE other is required! Just do not try to figger out the name! Mozilla!!!!! Not to be confused with Godzilla!!!! And ya do not have to bow down to Mr. Gates to get it and all 'updates'!(which they ask you IF you want them before 'automatically' installing them.)

Silverlight WAS an option in the past and I was very surprised to see it installed. Any other IE users find it installed automatically?

So jpg.....why Mozilla, in 1000 words or less.

I use it for all intents and purposes entirely. There are a few unenlightened(snowed by BG) folks out there who seem to be privy to hooks that BG has not seen fit to divulge that insist there 'stuff' will only work reliably with IE.

It has been my experience that IE has more hiccups in general than Firefox, and I do like the recoverability of FF when something else causes problems.(it usually gets things straightened out and back to where you was) I cannot say the same re IE.

FWIW I current have 12 sessions of FF currently loaded, and any given internet site/function is only a trip to the taskbar and a click away.

I need to take a break.

The plus is that my wife has decided I need a good-sized workshop. (Of course it only took me a decade of hinting before it became her idea.)

The minus is that this house is not conducive to a good-sized workshop. I now need to finish all the unfinished home projects so we can put the house up for sale. And my SSDI-qualified body isn't up to the task. Ouch.

Now I can go back to fretting whether I should make my shop cabinets simply functional, or if I should make them pretty as well. I've got a half-dozen Nick Engler workshop books and his stuff just makes you want to spend time in the shop just for the aesthetics.

So is it quick and dirty with 2x4s and construction grade plywood, or slow and easy with cabinet (shop) grade ply and hardwood. Making a big deal out of non-problems like these makes me think that I'm my own worst enemy.

My experience with IE was not caused by 'cockpit' problems!;)

I have been using Firefox ever since the early days of the Sawdust Sessions. In the beginning, I could not get them to operate with the Sawdust Sessions. I changed from IE to Google Firefox and my problems were solved.

Last week, I was the recipient of three computers. I have gotten all three up and running (almost). One is complete and ready to be delivered to a new home where it will host a trio of embroidery machines.

The other two I still have and while they seem to be healthy I cannot access the internet from either one of them (IE or otherwise)..
