Thank you, so it is something like 80$ more which is a bit more than 5% of the old price.
I guess I will have to wait for a sale.

Good luck on waiting for the sale. As far as I know, they have yet to have a "SALE" on the Power Pro.

They have offered discounts on Mark V upgrade accessories if you bought them together with a Power Pro, sort of a package deal, but no discounts on the Power Pro itself.

You might have a shot at a reduced price if you go find a demo at Lowe's. You can also sign up for a webinar; I understand that during the webinar there are some specials offered.

How about 10% off the PP?

Post by forrestb »

When invites (no one knows how to get on that list) to PP webinar are given out, the end of the webinar is a 10% discount on the PP options. O guess I got lucky and picked up on that .:D :D :D :D

Thank you for the tip.
Us, Canadians do not get to buy directly from Shopsmith and the re-seller (All in One Tools) does not give any type of specials like Shopsmith does every week or on the Webinar.
We have to order through one of the nice member of this forum if we want to be able to buy one of the specials from Shopsmith.
I Imagine for a power pro I would have to go and get it myself. I am thinking of a DIY upgrade, so it is not even offered by All In One Tools.
Thanks anyway. You gave me the chance to bring this to the attention of the administration, if they read the forum.

They do read the forum and I believe they do that every day. You can determine this for yourself. The list of online members will include Admin when he are present on line. He has usually checkled in already when I login in the morning.

Now this does not say that he will take action in your behalf but if it is important enough I am sure he will.

I am sure everyone is aware that admin accepts private messages and emails as does engineering and customer service. Feed back may not be instant but you can at least vocalize your needs and feelings. Important issues only. They are minimally staffed and inundating them with petty grievances will serve no ones best interest.

Thanks Dusty.
I have already talk with Jan sometimes ago and she said they were working on this (selling directly to us) so we can be entitled to the same advantages as you are in the US as far as specials are concerned.
Meanwhile I succeeded in buying two items through a US member of this forum. It takes almost a month but with patience I was able to receive those items. I have given up my wish to buy the DIY power pro for now. Not enough money and I would have to go and get it myself. Too expansive with a trip to the US for now.
