Hello
Just wondering if anyone else has lost a knob for the rod. I can't find it. I took it all apart to clean it up. Came to put it back together, no knob. Shopsmith doesn't have anymore available. I tried. Thought someone else out there may have a solution to my problem.

It is a knob with a 3/8-16 stud about 1 1/4" long. Note the threaded part is brass and has a squared off end. A 10E/ER table post lock knob is close!

Thanks for the information.
I fixed it. I used a 3/4in nut and drilled it out alittle to 13/16 about a 1/4 down on one side. I then used a Brad Hole 3/8-16x7/16 from menards (part #80437). This I held in position with a small c clamp and drilled some small holes about 1/4 in deep that I could stick a small nail into. I glued it on with some proffesional grade JD weld and stuck the nails in. The next day I sniped off the nails and filed them down. It is working great so far.
