True-Trac

Post by backhertz »

I purchased one a few months ago and had a chance to use it when I had to cut down a dozen doors. We had carpet installed and there was just not enough clearance. I had modified a new Milwaukee Tilt-Lok circular saw with the base, but hadn't a chance to use it. Once I trimmed the polyvinyl strips on the True-Trac, I was ready to go.

I simply made my marks and had all the doors cut down in no time. I didn't need to clamp a straight edge, nor did I have to worry about chipping. A job I was not looking forward to was completed in no time.

Did you have to super glue the anti chip strips to keep the from moving?
