Since this is the closes demo to me that has happen in a while and since I was going to be in that area anyway I though I'd stop in for another visit. Mike was doing the demo and I had heard about the rip cut he makes....
That is quite the cut he makes.... he really shoves the wood through and the powerpro takes it in stride. He puts on a pretty good demo and as in most other demos I've attended it is mostly shopsmith owners in attendance.
I'm pretty sure he was going to get a few sales. Several older owners had not even seen a lot of the updates before. A couple of people were non computer users and had thought that shopsmith had gone under since they had not heard from shopsmith in a lot of years, well until the postcard of the demo came.
One lucky guy had a wife telling him to add new MK7 and get the free bandsaw rather then just upgrade his old 500. Must be nice.
