I requested clamps for Christmas...

Post by heathicus »

I guess should have been more specific! These were in my stocking.

I think my wife thought she had done good. She was a little offended when I said, "those are cute." :o

I kept thinking I'd reveal some more serious clamps, but never did.

If you are like me you will be surprised to learn how much you used these little beauties.

I got mine in a similar fashion and thought what a waste but now I would not let them out of my hands.

I was about to say that you will be surprised to find how handy/useful these small clamps will become.

Those are cute, but I am sure you will find a use for them.

This morning my bride and I drove to my brothers home and picked up a lovely China Hutch that had belonged to our Mother. While cleaning and repairing it we discovered a broken latch. I tried to glue it and wished I had one of those tiny clamps. Why didn't I ask for them when my bride and I noticed them for sale? Oh well. Jim

Oh, I have no doubt I'll put them to good use many times and I am indeed thankful for them!

When I received my first pair I really thought they were a joke. But now I actually have two pair and use thm quite frequently. I really like mine, as I am sure you will also after you have a chance to use them for a bit.
I keep finding little windows on this forum, that I don't really know what they do. So sometimes I experiment. Probably shouldn't do that, I know in my shop it can get me into trouble.

Clamps for Christmas

Post by db5 »

My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told her I could use a half dozen small clamps. I didn't realize she was talking about Christmas Dinner. I got my wish.

I don't have any of that style clamps in that size but I could have used them several time. I'm adding them on to my budget list, have to see if I can afford them this year. Budget is not looking tooooo good for my hobbies this year. But I might be able to add them in project budget.

Anyway thanks for sharing them.
