removal of lower bandsaw wheel

How does the lower wheel on the bandsaw remove? I want to put new tires on ,but I can't figure out the lower wheel.

The bearing is retained with a clip and screw accessible through the spokes.
30, 30A, 31
It may resist removal. Pushing better than banging. The bearing and shaft are not intended to be separated(IIUC).

You don't need to remove the wheel if you replace the tires. Pretty much stretched the new tires on. It was just easy for me when I replaced my old rubber tires with aftermarket Ultra Blue Urethane Tires.

I would think removal would make cleaning the old adhesive more effective/easier.
But then I ain't done that(yet). Not looking forward to either!!!:eek:
Yes I be assuming glued rubber tires.

It's better to upgrade to ultra blue urethane tires. Rubber tire needs gluing and requires you to clean the wheel.

What size tires did you purchase and where?

Also why did you NOT clean any previous glue off?
FWIW urethane tires melt if the blade gets too hot.
Guess I be stubborn, but I be 'sticking' with rubber.

I used to order with Carter before but my new one is from
http://www.bandsawparts.com . I got 14 incher band saw and tire size is 7/8 .

I don't believe I am qualified to comment further. It appears that we are discussing a band saw type with which I have no experience.
My band saw maintenance experience is limited to two Shopsmith Band Saws.
