Wife says she wants a chimney cupboard. I had no idea what she was talking about.

She comes with a magazine picture and says, this would look quite easy...........

Wants it made with pine.... 60 inches tall, 12 inches deep and 22 inches wide..

she is going to paint it and have a lady do rosmaling on the doors.

The moral of the story is i have been looking at 24 inch Jorgenson cabinet clamps..This week Menards has them on sale for $24.99 reg $34.49/// So, In a day or two will get to the clamp store.. Snowstorm today and tues.

I would think a guy should have at least eight of those 24 inch clamps?????

I try to buy at least twice what I think I really need. Especially when they are on sale.

Answer to your question - - Yes! You just can't have too many clamps!;)

However 24" clamps aren't needed for this project. To make the sides panels of the carcase, your clamps only need to span 22". You probably can make do with 24" or 26" clamps. 4 each should be enough. You can get more clamps later when they go on sale.

24" clamps are needed for the front of this project. To make the side panels of the carcase, your clamps only need to span 12". You probably can make do with three 24" clamps for the front. You can get more clamps later when they go on sale. If you can get 8 with a "good deal" get them now.
