510 outfeed table

I've had an extra 510 table without the trunnion laying around for a while & decided to make an outfeed table with it. I drew up a lot of configurations in my head to make it workable. I wanted to allow me to use the regular rip fence without modification, and I finally came up with a really simple, cheap to make setup.

The total parts list (besides the table) includes:
1)two 3/8", I bolts with 1" I hole
2) 12" of 1 1/2" on a side, aluminum angle iron (is that just called "angle aluminum?")
3) four 1/4" screws & washers & nuts
The setup is pretty easy to see in the pics. I used the existing holes on the table & drilled the angle stock with the same size drill as the table holes. I think it was 9/32" for the outer. I used 17/64 for the inner holes because the table holes there were 1/4" threaded & that size gave me a bit of wiggle room. Since the holes are larger than the screws, you have a bit of adjustability for table height if you need it, but using the rip fence tube mount hole location for the location of the I bolt hole puts the outfeed table at the right height.
I drilled the holes on my other MK5 horizontally & had no trouble with accuracy.

Because the I bolts are mounted outboard of the table sides, I needed to add some spacers to keep the table from moving side to side. I found that the mount tubes of the tailstock are the correct inside & outside diameter to use for spacers, and although & had a spare to cut off the bottom approximately 1/2" from each side, you could cannibalize one if you need to & not hurt it's functionality. I liked the fact that the ends of the tubes were slightly tapered because they set in tight to the shape of the I bolts. I wanted no lateral movement so the miter gauge would slide accurately from table to table. That takes a bit of fine tuning of the spacers. (grinding/filing) I still have to do a bit of filing out of the angle stock for the left side miter slot, the right side was not an issue.
The other nice thing about this is that it just hangs down out of the way when not in use.
