Looking for thread about universal lathe rest hitting bolts on lift assist???

I recall a post describing the fact that the universal lathe hits the bolts on the lift assist.... I had forgotten about it until tonight when it happened to me. Tried to find the post but no luck.

Was there a solution? I didn't think much about it at the time since I was not affected, now things have changed.
