When I was checking my credit card information I saw a pending shopsmith amount of $13.99. That happens to be the last item from an order that I placed 3/25/2012. It is the insert for the old cast iron bandsaw.
This prompted me to check with my order status. It had been updated! (Currently Out of Stock, Expected on 05-17-2013) so there you have it. I don't know who else is waiting but the wait is paying off.

I'm still waiting for the bandsaw (aluminum) table extension that's been on backorder since last November...you've given me faith that they truly are still backorders and haven't forgotten me.

Will give it a test to make sure it fits tomorrow.

The weird thing is, any U.S. job shop with a laser- or water-jet cutter could crank those out in almost any quantity at very low cost and minimal lead time. But mine looked as if it had been nibbled the old-fashioned way. Why? And what took so long?
