Bandsaw blade disposal?

I broke a blade yesterday and since I've always like to get them broken down and recycled this is what I do.
I take the blade in leather gloved hands and a sturdy pliers and render it in to small pieces. We have a couple of enterprising people who drive around on garbage day and pickup scrap metal so I can the bits and put it out for them.

So I'm interested in what others do. Post your ideas or options that you use.
