ObamaCare and Healthcare.gov
I am sure thankful that I do not need to sign up for Affordable Health Care.
I went on healthcare.gov today just to browse around and see what the signup procedure was going to be like. The younger, computer literate population, will likely not have any problems. The older folks and those who have not developed some computer skills are likely to become very frustrated.
I hope I am wrong. The populace needs to be able to do this.

All you have to do is provide your e-mail address on the first page of the registration process before logging out and you will be flooded with e-mails and phone calls from insurance providers who will be more than glad to assist you in making the correct selections. I have been receiving at least 3 per day. I guess the insurance companies decided this plan isn't so bad after all :)They will even offer to come out to visit in person
We in Texas have over 42 different plans to choose from. Say what you will, this plan will most likely turn out to be as popular if not more than Social Security and Medicare were.

HR sent out a bulletin yesterday describing our options under ObamaCare. Basically we already have good benefits (already knew that) but legally you can go buy less for more if you choose.
At least I won't have to go through the hassle AND pay for other people. Every year when I file my taxes I feel like I should have gotten some Christmas gifts or at least a thank you from half the people in town.
