10ER Photo Museum
It's too bad that there is not a "Photo Museum" here on the forum where all of these photos of refurbished 10 ERs could be posted all together in one place.
A thread that accepts NOTHING other than captioned photos and the users' ID.
There are some fantastic success stories being told.

Sadly it has been patiently awaiting resumption of 'it's' turn. Too many other 'distractions' have been presented. 'It' is safely indoors, whereas some of these distractions are not so fortunate.
It is a 10E, but with a collection of 'extra' ER parts.
Then there is also the 'FrankenGGG(made up of Greenie, Goldie, (I fergit what the third "G" is) parts that is suffering from repetitive redirection of it's purpose. Started out as a mini storage rack, and is now destined to become a mini with a reversed headstock/carriage under table shaper(yes the "A" headstock has a reversible motor).
The 10' storage rack is laying around 'in pieces' also.
There have been some 'personal' issues competing fer time as well as I am running out of room for all these 'parts'.
That and being persnickety about some details. My ability to satisfy my objectives is sadly far less than 'minimum satisfactory'(IMHO).
Keep the faith!!! That is what keeps me going!
They shall appear here! Assuming I live long enough!):D

That WON'T happen. Too many threads get hijacked and off subject.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Have each 'poster' provide a link to another thread for 'comments' relative to that post.
And request as you described for no comments 'there' on the 'museum thread at the top.
I think Shipwright's restoration thread has tried the minimalist approach. This would be a step further in the right direction.

I have a 10-ER...
I put new casters in its caster set about a year ago. I don't guess that qualifies as a full restoration...
It's still in line for one though.
Pretty far back in line though. Only 2,337 projects in front of it.

I have been a member of Skip's 10-ER Yahoo group for a long time but had become inactive (no mail) some time back. I was just there changing back to active and due to this thread while there I went to the photo section and did a bit of looking. Too much to look at all at once.
The counter at the bottom says 2024 pictures there.
A fair number are restorations.
One picture that caught my eye was a 10-ER conversion to a double tilt...
Lots of great ideas there...

Dusty, check out the red highlighted suggestion in this attempt at your goal.
....... best laid plans..... It is hard not to comment on someone's fine work, and then it would be rude not to acknowledge the compliment... and then a wise crack or two always liven up a thread..... I think that one held up fairly well but we're all here because we like to chat and joke with each other so I don't know if there's much chance of a clean thread like that without serious moderation.

I think It would be fitting if you Paul started the Model 10 'museum' thread with the top post requesting 'no comments etc.'. I assume MickyD is 'not available',;) but a link to his final post would be cool!
I think Dusty has good intentions here and I intend to respect that. As before, I think a link to a 'comment thread' for each would be helpful in at least minimizing the extraneous posts. Each 'poster' would need to create that.
I realize you have already posted your 10ER in your 'restoration' thread, but seeing as the intention here is for 10 E/ER only, repetition would be appropriate.
For extra interest, a link to MKC would be good!
Over:)
